Classrooms
At CIS, we believe that a positive and supportive classroom environment is essential for effective learning. We carefully design our classrooms to meet the needs of all students, ensuring that each one has the space and resources they need to succeed. We recognize that every student learns differently, so we strive to create a setting where everyone feels comfortable, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. In addition to a welcoming atmosphere, we incorporate modern teaching tools and multimedia-based facilities into our classrooms to make learning more interactive and enjoyable. These resources help bring lessons to life, making complex concepts easier to understand and ensuring that students stay engaged throughout the day.
Library
We take pride in our senior school library, one of the best in Asia, offering a vast collection of reference materials, subject books, and publications to support learning. The library features a computerized database for easy access to resources and a multimedia room with DVDs, CDs, projectors, and computers for research. Highly recommended by universities and professional organizations, it also hosts training activities for future librarians.
Additionally, the Infant and Junior sections have their own libraries with age-appropriate books and resources.
Computer Rooms
The Secondary School features five computer labs, each furnished with advanced computers, multimedia tools, and internet access. In addition to the scheduled computer classes in the curriculum, students are encouraged to make use of the computer labs whenever their timetable allows. A teacher or supervisor is always available to assist and ensure the proper and safe use of the equipment.
The Infant and Junior sections are also equipped with similar facilities for their computer lessons.
Science Laboratories
The Secondary School boasts fully equipped, purpose-built science laboratories for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Integrated Sciences. Subject teachers, supported by lab technicians, provide constant supervision to ensure the safe and proper use of the laboratory equipment.
The Junior School has its own purpose-built laboratory for General Science, featuring student project displays, experiments, and posters, reflecting the curiosity and potential of every young scientist.
